I no longer remember where I downloaded this but attached is an envelope specifically designed for #10 envelopes, and using USA Post Office ZIP codes, which may not apply to you but you can delete any ZIP code you do not need. It works pretty well on my equipment. Experiment first on some plain paper to see how the printing setup works before you waste envelopes on it.

How the hell do you print an envelope in open office writer? I have never been so frustrated. It is so easy in Word 97. and it is the only reason I continue to use Word. I have asked my partner about this and he is just as frustrated as I am. If you type Print envelope in help there is no response. How stupid is that for such a fundamental action???

Hi Bridget

Try searching in Help on just "envelope" - this gives a number of hits

Also have a look at http://documentation.openoffice.org/HOW_TO/word_processing/Howto-printing-envelopes-diagnostics.html

Looks as though that should be helpful in getting things set up
