I'm not sure I totally agree with this. I would never use "retard" in
any kind of reference toward anyone. Mainly because some of my wife and
grandson have some limited deficits with mental capabilities. I'm sure
that we all would agree that the term is accepted along the lines of a
mentally retarded individual, or a mechanic would think of the spark for
the spark plugs if it was firing slow.
Nope.... never would I use that term for anyone unless it was used
appropriately. For a spark plug that's firing late in the care,
maybe.... <grin>
