FYI Sun has a plug-in for MS Office that will let it open and save OOo native files, if that helps any. I can't find a link right now but it shouldn't be too hard to find on the SUN site. Or maybe someone here will post it. Best though is to just remember to Save As an MS Word file when it's ready to transport, I think. But with the plug-in if you forget, then she can still at least open it and resave it in Word format.
