I have an interesting installation situation: I downloaded OpenOffice and
tried to run it on my computer. I got a message "The installer you are trying
to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk,
a failed download or a virus. You may want to contact the author of this
installer to obtain a new copy. It may be possible to ski[p this check using
the /NCRC command line switch. (NOT RECOMMENDED)" Prior to getting this
message on my computer, I installed Open Office using the very same download on
a colleague's laptop and it worked just fine. So I redownloaded the software
again but I still get the same message and I get the message on yet another
laptop as well. Has anyone any suggestions as to how to handle this? I
de-installed my older version of OO.
