Things are almost at the point where one has to specify which OOo
variant one is using, to know whether or not the answer will suffice.

it isn't really that bad - this is the one feature that shows the
differences most sharply is all..and maybe the Calc solver...but I guess
that is going to be extensions from the two competing camps..I think, so
it becomes a non-issue.
