Don't be ridiculous. That really is cutting of one's nose to spite one's
face. Or you are *very* wealthy and the bank *really* cares if it loses

custom.
I disagree there.

But maybe changing a bank is a bigger deal for you than for me.

Find a bank that doesn't restrict you to a single browser, open an account,
then gradually move all your activities to that bank, unless you find that
your current bank gives you what you feel is superior support in other ways.

Exactly. I took almost a full year between me opening the new bank
account and me closing the old. What's more, a customer overheard me
mentioning why I opened the new account, and less than a week later he
was dual-booting Ubuntu with Windows XP. Last I heard, XP was only
running a few games, and internet access was forbidden in their
household while in XP. I've got about twenty other similar cases :)

As far as I (actually, my wife) am concerned it's absolutely not worth the hassle.
