But we don’t use Visual Basic at work. Although one of the programmers here years ago wrote a single program that we still use which he wrote in Visual Basic, rather stupidly since what the program does can be better done in FoxPro.
Personally, if had to rewrite it now, I’d probably use Perl, since Perl is free and runs almost the same on all platforms. Others might use one of the other common free programming languages.
