Alternatively, it is proof that FLOSS is better equipped at providing solutions --- both short term and long term --- than proprietary software is able to do. There are two programs I use, that run on Windows: * Mastercook; * e-Sword and related utility programs; With Mastercook, the major issue is that I haven't found any software that imports Mastercook recipes into the Linux version. (I'm looking into writing a program in Python, using SQLite, that will import Mastercook recipes, and providing at least all of the functionality that Mastercook has.) * e-Sword. This runs on WINE. However, the useful utility programs don't work in WINE. :( The Sword Project doesn't measure up, in terms of either features, or resources. If I was in seminary, I'd need Logos, which blows away all other Bible Study software, in terms of legally distributed resources. xan jonathon --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
