I'd recommend that if you plan to include tinyurl.com links that you: 1. At *minimum* provide a note to were the link will take someone. 2. Provide a complete reference link. 3. If you insist on using tinyurl.com at least use the 'reference' link instead. This at least gives anyone clicking on that the option to see where the link may take them. As you can see from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TinyURL TinyURL has been exploited in the past, and I've no doubt that it will be again. So if you wish to put a tinyurl for this: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SCIM [which in itself is unneccesary for this list as it is already a short url] then put: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SCIM [http://tinyurl.com/275sb8] More appropriate would be: [http://preview.tinyurl.com/275sb8] When you click on this it will tell you: Preview of TinyURL.com/275sb8 This TinyURL redirects to: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SCIM But, as you can see none of the above actually requires a shorter link, so if the link is less than 72 characters, just put it in. On the other hand, if you have a long link just enclose it in <url>. Example: <https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SCIM?action=fullsearch&context=180&value=japanese&titlesearch=Titles> and then if you still want to provide a tinyurl: [http://preview.tinyurl.com/5n23ej] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
