Hi Tim,
It sounds like you've only downloaded the installation files, but haven't yet installed OpenOffice.org. Look under 'programs' in your start menu. If there's a folder named 'Openoffice.org 2.4', then the program has been installed. If not, look in the folder you mentioned below for 'setup.exe' and run it. Once the installation has completed, you should have the start menu item I mentioned. Run 'Openoffice.org calc', then open your spreadsheets and use 'file / export as pdf' to create a pdf of your excel spreadsheets. It is possible to install a macro that will allow you to convert a file to pdf from the command line. I have a batch file to do that if you're interested and capable of modifying it for your purposes.

Hi folks:

Your site was recommended to me by my server provider.

I have downloaded . . . C:\Documents and Settings\Tim\Desktop\OpenOffice.org
2.4 (en-US) Installation Files

But the one function I am looking for, I cannot seem to find ?

I with to convert my MS Excel files to pdf files.

Have I download the correct files or have I missed something ?

Thank you - Tim Burt
