I've been attempting to open an email containing a powerpoint show
and it will not allow me to open it. I just purchased your product
and so thought I would be able to do this. It is asking for code
numbers to be input, which your product did not contain. If you
cannot fix this or tell me how to do this, I would like a refund of
my purchase please, as this is why I bought your product. Thank you.

1) You did not have to pay for OpenOffice, as it's a free download
from www.openoffice.org and no code number required
2) Since you didn't pay us, we can't give you a refund. You'll have
to contact whoever you paid, for a refund. Failing that, perhaps your
charge card company can reverse charges.
3) OpenOffice has excellent compatibility with Microsoft Office,
however it cannot open the newest Microsoft Office file formats, such
as .PPTX etc.
Try downloading the free version from www.openoffice.org and see if
that helps. If the file is in that new version, you'll have to
arrange to have it sent in an older .PPT format. An alternative is to
download the free PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft, which will enable
you to open those new files.
Hopefully this helps. If you need more assistance, please contact us
again.
Forgot the link for the PowerPoint viewer.
