This is mostly to the moderators, but, I believe may be
relevant to the group at-large.
One, since I registered with this group, I notice that
everything pertaining to OO seems to be dumped here. This
makes for a tremendous amount of messages. I believe that
this IS the correct place for everyone to initially place
his or her questions or comments. I also believe that once
it is known that such a correspondence is directly related
to one aspect of OO, a notice from the moderators should be
stated that after that message, all continuing conversations
about that thread, would be placed on the specific board, to
which that thread actually belongs. If that means that we
must register with a few of the OO groups, that would be an
okay price to pay to be able to continue finding out about a
thread. Mind you, this is just a suggestion, as I do not
know how much work is involved; nor do I know about the
feasibility or lack of feasibility, in any other way.
Two, shortly after I joined this group, the amount of
spam I receive, shot up a lot. I suspect that one or more
of the members have spyware on their computer system, which
is sending out addresses to a spammer. I know that I
regularly check my system for computer viruses, spyware, and
other programs which can harm my computer system, the data I
have, and which can send information about things to others
when I do not want that to happen. I have been lucky in
being able to thwart these malware, mostly because of my
vigilance and willingness to ask for help. Unfortunately, I
cannot say the same for everyone. Can you, as moderators,
help with this?
