Dear Keith
Interesting to see that other people have problems changing systems.
Your post-script intrigued me - presumably since you believe in Jesus (an
historical person born 2000 or so years ago who could not write and had no
children), then you believe there is a god out there. If so, where did he come
from?
Is is not easier to believe we came from where he came from without invoking
gods or superstition of any type. Just because we cannot answer where we come
from, or why you cannot answer where your god comes from means we are the same
boat - except that you have no concrete evidence. Neither have I but I am
applying logic.
Have you heard the one about the time in the future, when we humans had
populated the stars and had invented instantaneous wireless, someone said let
us link up all the incredible power of all the computers in the universe and
ask it the ultimate question, "Is there a God?".
So at a massive ceremony, they switched on the special gigantic gold switch to
link everything and when the green light came on, they asked "Is there a God".
There was a gigantic flash that fused the switch shut and a voice from the sky
said "There wasn't but there is now!".
