I've just upgraded my computer and thought I would give Ubuntu 8.04 a go, having previously used OO 2.4.1 under Debian.
I've transferred all of my files successfully and everything works fine except the Base components. I can't open .odb database files, connect a .dbf file or even open a registered databases window (F4 in most versions of OOo I believe) Before I go to the trouble of uninstalling the Ubuntu version of OOo and downloading from the OOo web-site, can someone tell me if these problems are a known feature of the Ubuntu version of OO or have I done something wrong in installing Ubuntu?
