Hi Kevin, I use Thunderbird as my main and news reader, and simply have
created a "news" account and pointed it to: news.gmane.org. Once you
have downloaded the long list of groups, you can decide which you wish
to subscribe to.
It's a far better way of interacting with mailing lists IMHO.
