Is there a feature for showing multiple spaces, double single apostrophes, and other 'bad' punctuation? I have an 80-page thesis that I am reviewing. The author, while an expert in the field of filtration, is a terrible writer. He sometimes uses " double quotes and sometimes uses '' single quotes in pairs. In many places there are two spaces between words. Is there a formatting mode for showing, for instance, only double spaces but not single spaces?
Yes. At 14:07 06/08/2008 +0300, Dotan Cohen wrote:

o Go to Edit | Find & Replace... (or Ctrl+F). o Enter two spaces (or whatever) in the "Search for" box. o Press Find All. o Go to the Formatting toolbar and select a suitable Highlighting colour. o Repeat for other faults, using different colours. o Return document to author, preferably accompanied by sunglasses. I trust this helps. Brian Barker --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
