That seems to be the need, Kevin. Andrew provided what must be a macro for sidenotes within tables, and that looks practical. As a bumbling non-techie, I'm still trying to figure how to use it. Thanks for all the responses. I'm studying them. The Marginalia doesn't seem to do the trick, as somebody mentioned, but I'm still tinkering.
