Okay, found I found that this must be set in vzpkg.conf.
However I am still unable to fetch any packages.
Package cacher throws the following into it's error.log:

Thu Sep 18 02:18:32 2008|warn [10904]: flock() on closed filehandle $exlock at /usr/share/pkg-cacher//pkg-cacher-lib.pl line 297. Thu Sep 18 02:18:32 2008|error [10904]: Unable to achieve lock on /var/cache/pkg-cacher/exlock: Bad file descriptor at /usr/share/pkg-cacher//pkg-cacher-lib.pl line 299. Thu Sep 18 02:18:33 2008|warn [10905]: flock() on closed filehandle $exlock at /usr/share/pkg-cacher//pkg-cacher-lib.pl line 297. Thu Sep 18 02:18:35 2008|warn [10906]: flock() on closed filehandle $exlock at /usr/share/pkg-cacher//pkg-cacher-lib.pl line 297. Isn't there any way to go around package cacher. Why not get the updates from the actual debian repositories that are mirrored by my hosting provider.

Regards,
Samy
