That would be because the fix for sending the binding args in utf8 had not been applied.

It took a while to get the final spout/drain command line perfect to see the
header match working.  It might be good to add those lines I posted to
either the docs or examples.  I was going to add it to the wiki but couldn't
find an appropriate area.
