Does anybody know of an explicit example of a CSS conflict between MX and
Jewel?

I can't recall details offhand.

But CruxGitHubCommitLogViewer is an Express project, and it has at least a
little bit of mayhem if you don't avoid that. The Crux service call stuff
seems to run but the visuals are not processed I think because of startup
errors, which includes renderer mappings/Factories from MXRoyale I think.

I just tried removing:

'-compiler.exclude-defaults-css-files=MXRoyale-${royale.framework.version}-js.swc:defaults.css;'

to get the errors.

I assume you could see the same thing in ant if you preferred to use ant,
by removing the <exclude-defaults-css-files> tag from the local
compile-app-config.xml

That's not Jewel (I know it!). Maybe Carlos can provide more detail for
Jewel.
