Mark,

Can you explain exactly how CalDAV works well apart from invitations? If you can't accept an invitation on your iPhone, then how does it work? I suppose you can schedule appointments and invite others on your iPhone?

Actually invitations only work with activesync (exchange accounts) - ics
attachments to IMAP accounts don't work. Guess you need to talk to
Apple!

CalDAV and CardDAV do work well though apart from invitations...

Hi,

iPhone can accept invitations, it cannot send them. If you have iPhone users I
would recommend using CalDAV and CardDAV as these are native and both work well
with SOGo.

I can't remember which version of iOS included invitation support, but it was
some time ago. Make sure they have their iPhone software up to date.

Mark

I have a couple of users with iPhones. Although I haven't gotten Funambol
working yet, I am wondering if it is worth the effort? It seems that Apple's
native email will not recognize ics calendar events. Does this mean that even
with Funambol configured and syncing, a user could not accept an event on their
iPhone and have it appear on a SOGo calendar?
