Sure, it's easier to write in our own language, but for the people in Spain, Italia, France, Quebec ;-), China, Japan too ...
It seems, there are many german speaking users in users@sogo.nu, which will be missed in the discussions (and solution-providings ;-) ), I think.
Also, the SOGo-community is not as big as (i.e.) the php-community, which did the split in 1998 (long long time ... ) - there it made sense.
