FWIW, If I use a fresh profile I just see two "OPTIONS" requests:

OK, I found the cause.
When I create a new profile, I actually create a default prefs.js.
One of the options I push is

user_pref("network.proxy.type", 4);

(which corresponds to "auto detect proxy settings for this network")

and the integrator doesn't work with it (why)?
If I remove the proxy option the integrator correctly finds my calendar and shows the buttons. I tried to set the same option in my existing profile an it has the same problem.
