No, IMHO its a SoGo connector issue. The passwords are not saved, at
least when using the official branch. fmbiete branched the connector
on github and added the password saving functionality.

That just asks for the master password. But the OP is questioned for
the password for his account, not the master password.

Anyway, installing lightning and using it for calenders (for the same
account/user!) saves the trouble, cos then the password is saved...

Or using saved password editor addon in thunderbird, and entering the
passwords manually.
