yes . . .
Ubuntu Trusty repositories deliver Samba 4.1.6, but don't go to any
trouble with it (only if it makes sense) As I see it, building from
scratch, with Trusty and Inverse repositories is what we want.
Openchange is just not ready, and since I've been reading about it (link
<http://openchange.org/developers/roadmap.html>), it appears they're
trying to add updates from Zentyal to Openchange to bring about the v2.2
update (just not ready)
HOPEFULLY, that will come down soon. Course, I could fall back to v2.1
Quadrant or roll my own. I just thought it would be easier to use
ready-made packages from the repositories (with your tutorial)
Inverse wants to wait for v2.2, and I don't blame them, but it delays
the use of Trusty for now.

Hi Steve,
If you are interested, and if I find time, I can create a pbuilder for
Ubuntu (the way I use to build package for Debian) and try to build
the package for Ubuntu as well. Does the version 4.1.6 comes to Ubuntu
by default?
Olivier.

Hi Masi,
I answered to you on the forum (today), I didn't realize that I
answered to the same people on the mailing :D

I started following your previous tutorial (link
<http://iabsis.com/EN/article/35/Installation-de-Samba4-et-Openchange-sur-un-serveur-Debian-ou-Ubuntu>)
starting with Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty.
I installed Samba 4.1.6 but was stopped at installing
OpenChange (as the rpcproxy and ocsmanager packages are not
ready apparently for Trusty, and Inverse hasn't completed the
repositories)
Ludovic indicated the repositories will be upgraded once
OpenChange 2.2 is released (link
<https://lists.inverse.ca/sogo/arc/users/2014-06/msg00276.html>)
It's past due, but I am waiting patiently, as I wish to
rebuild my SOGo server with Samba and without LDAP

Hi, For your information, I rebuild myself all packages for
Samba 4.1.9 (with fixed dependancy).
