Hi!

Any specific reason you want to test a RC version when the final is
released, where a lot of bugs are solved already ??

1. We use rpms for those applications that do not require customization
beyond what is normally found in rpms to make upgrading less time
consuming.

On the list there was a posting on how to build your own RPM set out of the tar.

2. rpmfind.net is in a shambles with the US mirror being unreacable
more than it is.

3. None of our other rpm sources currently have 3.0.

Now, maybe someone can tell me why, on so many technical lists, people
who do not have the answer to the question asked, always reply with,
"Why do you want to do that?" I've downloaded the tarball. When I
install it, I guess I will actually find out if it solves the problem.

Since you are able to solve your own problems also, and not always need to reply on what others bring you. It was stated, very recently in this very same list, how to build the RPM you are looking for. There is a spec file included in the SA archive,so you can build the RPM right away.

Bye,
Raymond.
