They are merged in with the other options and documented in man Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf For example in that man page search for auto_whitelist_path which is the one you were having trouble with. Some of them can only be set system wide, that is, not in an individual user's user.pref file, because they are considered sensitive. But they all should work in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf as a system wide customization. -- sidney
