using maven IS a user friendly way. you CHOOSE not to use it, so...
Igor, you are assuming, that the user knows Maven and uses it for its own projects. This might be the case for a lot of developers, but not all. And I don't understand why I need to learn another tool which I do not need for my daily work just to get the dependent libraries for Wicket.
A user-friendly way for those developers who don't know/use Maven would be to provide the dependent libraries. If Maven can download them from different servers, why it's so hard to put links to these libraries on the Wicket download page so other users can grab them without the need of Maven?
