If you do not want the old templates to be shown, you can simply modify the
query code as follows :
#set($sql = ", BaseObject as obj where obj.name=doc.fullName and
obj.className='XWiki.${class}Class' and
obj.name<>'XWiki.${class}ClassTemplate' and
obj.name<>'XWiki.${class}ClassTemplateOld'")
#foreach ($item in $xwiki.searchDocuments($sql))
* [$item.substring($mathtool.add($item.indexOf("."),1))>$item]
#end
Basically, you can add this part :
and obj.name<>'DocumentSpace.DocumentName'
that tells the query to ignore some XWiki documents / objects when
retrieving matching documents.

Using the snippet I provided they won't show up in your query results. I
know that's only a workaround, but I'm not familiar enough with XWiki's
inner workings to do best ;-)
