Well, first nobody should ever upgrade a wiki in production directly! You 
should make backups and do the upgrade on a staging server and then only move 
the instance to production.

err… The Distribution Wizard …. is a... wizard ;)

You should give it a try! We do have some ideas in jira to make it even better 
but it’s already quite good in its current state.
