2002-03-13 Would be...Could be....if....maybe. You could say that about any subject. If everybody had been educated in 3 languages instead of just one, we would all be tri-lingual too. But, we weren't, and so we aren't. And extending the logic to metric, the people are not knowledgeable of metric and therefore oppose it.
It is totally meaningless to say what would happen if things were different. We have to deal with the reality.
