I think trying to restrict a faulty unit is bound to fail. It's sort of like
the parable of the rotten apple; the infection will somehow find its way
into all of the good fruit.
People very much like halves and quarters. Look at Microsoft Word's use of
quarters of centimetres in their rulers for page layouts. I get nearly as
excited about this as you do about Maporama.
