The above was addressed to someone else, but it struck a chord with me. I, too, often wonder what the status of an USMA correspndents is when I read his or her message. I won't criticize anyone who feels it necessary to keep this information to himself or herself, but perhaps it would be helpful in understanding various viewpoints if we knew a little bit more about each other. I think this would be a good idea on this forum. One way would be to include that information in our signature file. Starting with this message, I am doing just that; I'm including my employment status and my geographic location in my "signature". (I have for some time been in the habit of signing my name, which presumably reveals my gender as well.) This is easier for those of us who have the capability of storing a signature file and tacking it onto the end of each email automatically or by a single key stroke. I don't know what to suggest to those of you who don't have this capabilty. It would be tedious to type a long signature message at the end of every email we write.
