If it is really that amount, 2%, yes that is worth it. Many other ways of payment are far more expensive. 2% of $35 is 70 cents. Suppose I pay a dollar extra, then I will never go below $35 for the real dues. I would do it.Paying with a credit card within the EU is also very cheap, 11 eurocents.

The USMA would have to pay a 2 % or something close fee to the bank for every transaction. If the person using the VISA or some other card, does not mind paying that fee to offset the USMA's costs, then I see no reason why it can't be done. > > Another issue might be that the USMA would have to have a secure site to be able to handle credit cards in order to prevent credit card theft. That might be an additional financial burden for them. Would the benefits outweigh the costs? Does anyone know? John <snip>
