Sure enough! A visit to www.alpage.fr and a search for Louis Jourdan produces "La grande metrication" with an opportunity to buy the book.
A visit to www.fnac.fr and a search for Louis Jordan does not yield Louis' book. However, a visit to www.fnac.fr and a search for "La grande metrication" does yield Louis' book, but with an issue date of 2002 May 15. i.e. not yet available for purchase if my reading of the French is accurate.
