Keep in mind what the Bahamas is.   It is an independent island nation off the coast of Florida in which Queen Elizabeth II is still sovereign.

The island nation, consisting of about 700 small islands about 100 km off the coast of Florida has a population 280 000.  Unemployment is about 15 %.  Of those employed, 30 % work for the government, 40 % tourism, 10 % business services (money laundering), and  5 % for agriculture.

Their exports are mainly rum, crawfish, pharmaceuticals, and cement.

I'm sure metric is used to some extent, but with such close proximity to the US and the having to accommodate American tourists in FFU, I'm sure the use of metric is limited.

But, even if metric was not used it all, would it make much of a difference?
