Today on Euronews it was reported that Milton Friedman has expressed his prediction that the EU together with its common currency the Euro will desintegrate within 5 years.
I assume he also expects the metric system to desintegrate with it. Is this why they pushed the EU to postpone it's metric only labelling resolution until 2010?
