As I said in my previous posting:

For aviation horizontal distance:
The rest of the world uses SI (metres, kilometres) or SI-accepted
measures in aviation for horizontal distances.

For pressure:
The rest of the world uses mb or hectopascals.

The 'Blue Table' is no longer in force. It was replaced in 1979 by a
'non-SI' list. This does not contain any allowance for the non-SI or
non-SI-accepted measures in use by the US for horizontal distances.



Here is an example of UK aviation weather (note the different units used
in vertical and horizontal measures):

Surface wind 360�/3 kt
Visibility 1,200 metres
Weather Snow
Cloud Scattered base 400 feet
Broken base 800 feet
Temp/Dew point 1�C/0�C
