The Metric Message of the Canadian Metric Association, in its June 1979 issue, reported that
LIBERIA TO GO METRIC
Liberia has officially decide to convert to the metric system,
according to an April 9 from the country's director of standards to
the U,S. National Bureau of Standards. A national metric committee
has been established by the President of Liberia.
