Beer = banning the pint would almost certainly not be tolerated. Pub
drinkers are influential voters but might not be the most open to
reason. Permitting the litre might be tolerated.
Still call it a "pint" but give 'em 600 ml.
Too bad the pints are different; in the USA 500 ml means you get more.
