It seems to me SYSPRO may have been caught with their pants down. They came
out with a product first, only in FFU. They may have thought that everyone
every where really uses FFU or wants to and only in "evil" countries are the
people forced to use "metric". so, they only make an FFU product.

They may also have thought that they can do their part to promote FFU in the
metric world. They produce an FFU only product and everyone who buys it
will have no choice but to adapt to FFU. A sneaky way to get FFU into
common use elsewhere.

But hen one of two things happens:

1.) Nobody outside the US buys the product. They claim it is of no use to
them because they don't use FFU. They need a product only in SI or,

2.) Those who do buy it find the information is useless, and contact SYSPRO
and insist they got a bum product. They want SYSPRO to fix the "error" or
refund their money. Not wanting to lose customers, they decide they have no
choice but to come out with an SI version.

In this case, the REAL marketplace decided what the people really can use,
not what some American businesses want to force onto the world.

John

euroisation = metrication
no euro; no metric
help bring an end to FFU by bringing an end to dollar hegemony.
