2003-03-19 First of all, this is all tied in with metrication. Please read my postings on dollar hegemony, and see why I believe that as long as it exists, there will be and can not be any metrication in the US.
Second, If we got back on topic, we would all be saying: " ". There isn't anything to discussed. We are all discussed out. We could discuss the future of metric in post-war Iraq after the US occupies it. Or, you could start an on topic thread going to help keep us focused.
