The point has been made several times that attempts to accomodate dual measures lead to unfair trade practices.
This is where my gripe is. I've only heard this claim on websites and discussion forums dedicated to having a preference for imperial, or metric. Don't get me wrong - I've heard the claim from "both sides". Unless I hear a "real person" suggest this then I just don't buy it.
No offence meant by "real person" but I'm sure you recognise what I mean.
