This is where my gripe is. I've only heard this claim on websites and
discussion forums dedicated to having a preference for imperial, or
metric. Don't get me wrong - I've heard the claim from "both sides".
Unless I hear a "real person" suggest this then I just don't buy it.
No offence meant by "real person" but I'm sure you recognise what I mean.
Yes I recognise what you mean but I don't understand why you ignore reasoned
argument. Why does everything have to be justified in terms of what people
actually do according to your observations?
