Found on the label of a container of BBs in Walmart a couple of days ago...

(In English) "... caliber 4.5 mm""
(in French) "... calibre ,177""

The latter refers to the old caliber designation (long ago dumped by NATO in
favor of SI) in terms of decimal fractions of an inch, that is, 0.177 inches
(= 4.4958 mm). Even so, that old nomeclature was somewhat a "trade size".

I don't recall the brand. These were the "old style" copper BBs and not the
new style plastic BBs which come in 4.5 mm and 6.0 mm sizes.
