Well folks. I got a chance to take a vacation this year in Victoria 
Canada. It was nice to see metric signs and useage of the system. On the 
Boat, we traveled at 60 km/h (nice for computing the time left to 
travel. The ship's speed was still measured in knots...

While traveling around in Canada the tour guide did quote imperal units 
for our benefit, but at least those were secondary units to the ones 
customly used.

It was nice to be in a semi-metric country for once.
