Does IKEA advertise its Swedish origin in the US? For example, in the UK IKEA stores fly the Swedish flag along the Union flag. [For the benefit of US readers, the "Union Jack" is only ever flown from a ship or boat. The self-same flag, when flown on land is called the "Union flag"].
This approach is in contrast to Shell which I believe hides its Dutch origin when marketing their products in the United States (and indeed in many other countries). -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paul Armstrong Sent: 20 September 2007 04:33 To: U.S. Metric Association Subject: [USMA:39454] Re: Cheers for IKEA!
