Is there is prospect of seeking harmony with EU labeling regulations?

I don't see anything about advertising restrictions in there.

The text of the proposition wants to add more US customary to the labels
and one of the reasons for sending mail in is to encourage them to use
metric exclusively for all alcoholic beverages (currently, malt
beverages like beer are exempt which is why you see 12 fl oz bottles).
