Rocky, the advancement of U.S. science ought to remain non-partisan. In fact, the two co-chairs of the ScienceDebate2008 Steering Committee are of opposite political parties. People throughout the political spectrum depend upon science. This is a discussion that all the presidential candidates need to join. The issues discussed must go beyond the hot-button ones. The need for improvement in this Nation's science capabilties is as pervasive as SI itself.
