Then you should probably agree that the research that needs the most
additional Federal funding is:
1. Breast cancer
Lung cancer and colon cancer are not celebrity causes.
2. AIDS
Notice how private industry does not need Federal funds to
research heartburn and aphrodisiacs?
3. Cow flatulence
Concern about global warming, and vegetarianism.
4. Stem cells taken from live embryos
Justifying murder to help the disabled.
The point is, a Republican candidate would have to be nuts to go there and be
waylaid by scientific experts, when he himself is not an expert. Maybe Ron
Paul could pull it off because he is a medical doctor...
